Terms & Conditions

Welcome to TOC Senior Services, a service of Temple of Christ LLC. By scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from TOC Senior Services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Services Provided (Non-Medical)

TOC Senior Services provides non-medical support services to older adults, including but not limited to:

  • Transportation assistance (non-emergency)

  • Errand assistance

  • Companionship visits

  • Wellness check-ins

 

TOC Senior Services does not provide medical care, nursing care, physical therapy, home health services, or personal care services such as bathing, toileting, dressing, medication administration, or clinical monitoring.

 

Clients and/or authorized representatives acknowledge that TOC Senior Services is not a medical provider and does not replace licensed healthcare services.

 

2. No Emergency Services

 

TOC Senior Services is not an emergency response provider. In the event of a medical emergency, clients and/or family members should call 911 immediately.

 

We do not guarantee immediate availability, emergency response, or 24/7 service.

 

3. Eligibility & Client Responsibility

 

Clients must be able to safely participate in services with minimal assistance, or have a family member or authorized representative coordinating services.

 

The client and/or authorized representative agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Disclose relevant mobility concerns or safety issues

  • Ensure a safe environment for service delivery

  • Treat staff with respect and professionalism

 

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if the client’s needs exceed non-medical support, if unsafe conditions exist, or if inappropriate behavior occurs.

 

4. Scheduling & Time-Based Service Policy

 

All services are provided by appointment and scheduled in advance. Service time is reserved exclusively for the client.

 

Time-Based Services:

Service time begins at the scheduled start time and ends at the scheduled end time, regardless of delays caused by the client, third parties, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Late client readiness

  • Extended appointment wait times

  • Additional stops requested during service

  • Traffic, weather, or road conditions

 

Additional time beyond the scheduled service duration may require approval and may result in additional charges.

 

⏱ We operate on a time schedule to ensure dependable service for all clients.

 

5. Transportation Terms (Non-Medical)

 

Transportation services are non-medical and non-emergency. We are not a taxi service, rideshare provider, or medical transport provider.

 

Clients agree to:

  • Wear seatbelts at all times

  • Follow driver instructions for safety

  • Enter and exit the vehicle with reasonable assistance

 

Drivers may offer arm support and general assistance, but we do not provide lifting, transferring, or physical medical assistance. Clients requiring specialized transport should seek licensed medical transportation.

 

6. Payment Terms (Private Pay)

 

All services are private pay. We do not bill Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance.

 

Payment may be required:

  • In advance

  • At the time of service

  • Immediately upon invoice delivery (as specified)

 

We reserve the right to require deposits or prepayment for certain services or clients.

 

7. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Late Changes

 

Clients and/or authorized representatives agree to provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

 

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, as well as no-shows, may be subject to a cancellation fee.

 

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in service refusal or termination.

 

8. Client Belongings & Personal Property

 

TOC Senior Services is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, including but not limited to:

  • Phones

  • Wallets/purses

  • Keys

  • Medical devices

  • Packages or groceries

 

Clients are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TOC Senior Services and Temple of Christ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to services provided.

 

We are not responsible for outcomes related to client decisions, third-party providers, or events outside of our control.

 

10. Assumption of Risk

 

Clients understand that participation in transportation, errands, and community outings involves inherent risks such as slips, falls, traffic conditions, or public exposure. Clients voluntarily assume these risks.

 

11. Privacy & Confidentiality

 

We respect client privacy. Information collected is used only to provide services and communicate with clients and authorized representatives. We do not sell client information.

 

We may share information when required by law or when necessary to protect client safety.

 

12. Termination of Services

 

We reserve the right to terminate services at any time if:

  • Services requested exceed non-medical support

  • Unsafe conditions exist

  • Payment is not received as agreed

  • Client or representative behaves inappropriately

14. Changes to These Terms

 

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
